The Evaluation

The evaluation is a so vast subject in the education world that it requires a thorough formation with a periodical recycling in order to get informed about the most recent research in this field.

1 In the high-schools, evaluation is made in the form of homeworks and end-of-term tests, and of continuous assessments of knowledge.

2 It is preferable to unify the subjects for the same classes’ level and to print them.

3 When conceiving a subject, the teacher should take into account the following points:

- typing errors

- contradiction in the subject

- duration

- gradation of the questions

- the compatibility of the subject with the program

- the subject objective clearly definite

- the scale

4- the teacher must organize a collective correction session of the subject in class.

5- the teacher will undertake the report of the marks on the report cards

6- the three terms’ marks will be also reported on the school notebook which accompanies the file of the pupil since the beginning of his/her schooling in 1st   A. F.

7- the marks of the continuous assessment, in the form of oral or written tests or of homeworks, are reported on the notebook of correspondence which must be signed monthly by the parents. It allows them primarily to a regular follow-up of the school work of their children: they will be able to detect there the signs of a relaxation or of a regression  – in which case they would contact the teachers concerned to discuss it.
